I always have to stop by when staying at the Hyatt!!! It is wonderful, nice and quiet atmosphere and the views are to die for. If you have one night in downtown Indianapolis, this is the place to go.
The food is so so, sounds better than it taste. This time, we stop by to have desserts. My daughter had creme brûlée and it was sort of pasty. I had a pineapple upside down cake which was very doughy not super moist as I would have envisioned.
The 5-stars is for the nostalgic and very romantic environment with the rooftop revolving restaurant.A must in Indianapolis!

I will just be frank: the food wasn't worth it, at all. The view is spectacular, our server was polite and prompt and the restaurant itself is well-maintained and chic. But... $45 for an over-cooked, bland filet with great mashed potatoes and the best asparagus I've ever had??? Meh... worth $30 at most: and that's stretching it. The quality just wasn't there for my filet. My medium rare was on the high side of medium. My wife's medium was definitely well-done, I just didn't want to send it back... I have a hard time wasting meat. The server did ask us to check the doneness, and personally I'd prefer if it came on the rarer side as I prefer a more rare steak, and it can always be cooked longer. I digress... the entree wasn't worth the cost. The chipotle Mac n cheese was good, we also got shrimp cocktail which had gigantic shrimp and a delicious sauce. But totally not worth $10 and $16 respectively.

It's a good place to go once. I will definitely not be back for dinner. Maybe drinks, but that also seemed overpriced.

My last experience was the best by far.  I just had alcohol and enjoyed - of course - the view.

My prior experience with food has never been good we have been here 3 times previously and never left impressed.

Tip: no reservation needed and the drinks are on point in the lounge.

We arrived at our reservation time, and the hostess was seating us at the upper level. My husband asked if we could sit on the lower level. She said those seats were only for those who requested them... there was no option when making reservations online, and there was only one couple we could see on the lower level. So, here we are, 'requesting' seats.? So she said she would see what she could do.

We were seated and for the first 20 minutes was slightly nauseous which kind of put a damper on the whole thing.

The menu is small and seemed lackluster. The food was ok, but not really worth the price. A glass of my favorite restaurant staple wine was $4 more expensive than at pricier places I've been.

We both had 1 drink, a salad, and I had an appetizer and he an entree. When leaving, we said it was like we paid $40 for the food and $80 for the view and neither was really worth it.

They seem to bank on the idea that you're there for the novelty but the novelty doesn't quite make up for the rest.

Went here for the Devour Indy Menu. The exceptional service was the best part. The portion sizes were good too, however, the quality of the prime rib, brussel sprouts and even the garlic potatoes was waaaaay below where it should be for a restaurant of this caliber. BE ALERT and look at your bill before paying! It was just two of us and even though there is still a place for gratuity, 20% had already been added to the bill! One of our least favorite Devour Indy experiences.
